Our vision is to help you live out yours! We do this by being stewards of grace, equipping you in a kingdom lifestyle, and ministering to you for your destiny's sake. We call it a Grace Revolution!
His House Governing Values:
Ministry Promises to You:
We will encourage your deepening experience of the finished work of Christ and encounters with God that affirm it. [Luke 24]
We will faithfully teach you the New Covenant and the Word of God... The apostle Peter said, "…like newborn babes, long for the pure milk of the word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation." [1Peter 2:2] There is no substitute for systematic, verse by verse Bible teaching.
We will seek to operate as servant leaders who long for God’s best for your life. [Eph. 4:11-13]
We will do everything possible to strengthen your marriage and your family against the destructive pressures of the culture in which we live... [Phil. 2:15]
We will vigorously oppose the division producing carnality that plagues so many churches. We will not have gossip, back biting, or anything else that will divide us as a congregation and neutralize our witness for Christ. [2 Cor. 12:20]
We will strongly encourage small group participation and relationships which facilitate personal spiritual growth. [Heb. 3:13]
We will encourage whatever use of our resources necessary to adequately minister to your children.
We will give ourselves to the practice and teaching of moral purity - especially among our men.
[1 Thes. 4:3-7]
We will seek to win the lost of this community and disciple them in a manner consistent with the New Testament. Although Dr. Crisco’s sermons will usually be "expository" (verse by verse explanation of Scripture) there will be a regular challenge to receive Christ. [2 Tim 4:5]
We will strongly emphasize home and foreign missions that we may delight in the mandate of the Great Commission to go into all the world. (Matt. 28:18-20)
We will lead our congregation in honoring women as given to us as special instruments of God's mercy. We will do everything possible to elevate them, honor their callings and facilitate the special roles to which they have been called in the body of Christ and in the home. [Prov. 31, Titus 2]
We promise to provide a safe environment you can bring family and friends to with no embarrassingly long appeals for funds. We will be committed to excellence in our music. We will place a priority on the presence of God. We will seek to create an environment for the gifts of the Spirit while operating in the safety of divine love. [Col 3:23]
We promise, as 5-fold ministers, to challenge and equip our members into regular service and fruitful ministry that we might bless God and each other. [Eph. 4:11-13, 1 Thes. 5:11]
Finally, let me add a twelfth. We promise to encourage all of our people to personally own the rest of this list.... that our entire church might be personally committed to these things. As we do so, may God Himself, dwell among us. May He bring forth mighty manifestations of His glory. May He use us to call the lost souls of our community to Himself. May we grow in numbers - and in stature with both God and man. Lastly, in the words of Paul, let me ask of God for you...
"That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." [Col. 2:2-3]
